The test is used for semi-quantitative assay of the content of luteinizing hormone(LH) in human urine and predict the ovulation, which an auxiliary diagnosis ofwoman ovulation period and is a reference for the women of childbearing age todecide the best chance of conception or contraception.Luteinizing Hormone (LH)is a glycoprotein hormone secreted from basophils ofthe antehypophysis to induce ovulation and to produce L H and the progesteronesecretion under the synergistic effect of the FSH. LH concentration in blood is 2-15mIU/mL during pre-ovulation, 30-100 mIU/mL during ovulation and 4-10 mlU/mLduring post-ovulation. The normal value during the non-ovulation period is 5-25mlU/mL. When lower than 5 mlU/mL, it indicates hypogonadotropic hypogonad-ism, which commonly appears in Sheehan's syndrome. High FSH plus high LHindicates definitely that ovarian failure occurs, where the other test is unnecessary.While the LH/FSH 3 is one of the evidences for diagnosis of polycystic ovarysyndrome.

The negative result consists of three situations as below:
a) When only the quality control line C appears color, LH concentration<1mlU/mL indicates it is beyond the ovulation period.b) When the quality control line C and the test line Tl appear color, 1 mIU/mLLHconcentration <5 mlU/mL indicates it is beyond the ovulation period. If the abovementioned test results occur for several days, it may be due to the hypogonadotropichypogonadism, which commonly appears in Sheehan's syndrome. Consult thedoctor for advice.c) When the quality control line C and the test line T1&T2 appear color, 5 mlU/mLLH concentration<25 mlU/mL, indicates it is beyond the ovulation period.
The positive result consists of the two situations as below:
a) When the quality control line Cand the test lines T'1,'T2 and T3 appear color, 25mlU/mLLH concentration<65 mIU/mL indicates it is within the ovulationperiod.b) When the quality control line Cand the test lines T1,'T2, T3 and T4 appear color,LH concentration65 mlU/mL indicates it is within the ovulation period .If the LH peak results occur for several days, pregnant test should be done first. Oth-erwise, it may be due to the ovarian dysfunction. See you doctor for advice as soonas possible.
Invalid:
When the quality control line C doesn't appear color, it indicates the test is failedor the product is invalid.Change the product for retest. If the issue is still existing,stop using this product and contact the local distributor.}
